WHAT DO WE VISIT:

  • TIMANFAYA NATIONAL PARK (MONTAÑAS DEL FUEGO) In the “Islote de Hilario”, you will be surprised by the heat that still exists under our feet: at 13 meters deep we find a temperature of 610ºC. Here you will find Geysers and other geothermal displays. From this point on we will embark on the fascinating Route of the Volcanoes, where we will hear the complete story of the Timanfaya eruptions, passing through craters, ravines of fire and an immense sea of lava of impressive color. You cannot do this route with your rental car.

  • THE GREEN LAGOON In the town of El Golfo a dramatic crater overlooking the sea houses a stunning emerald-coloured lagoon. The breathtaking views are truly spectacular.

  • LA GERIA is a stunning landscape of vineyards sculpted by human hands, built by farmers who overcame the challenges of water scarcity, intense sun and strong winds.

  • MONUMENT TO THE PEASANT. Isolated on the horizon, a monumental sculpture titled “Fecundity” stands out prominently. Dedicated to the Lanzarote peasant and crafted by Cesar Manrique it reflects his fascination with the traditional architecture. The sculpture incorporates elements such as chimneys, threshing floors, cisterns, patios, carpentry shops and wine presses, etc.
